Environmentally friendly production in Viessmann foundries are among the most modern and environmentally responsible in all of Europe. More than 98% of the forming sand used in the casting process is reused after undergoing refining operations. Remaining amounts are utilized for road construction. In this manner, foundry sand never poses a burden on waste sites. Rather, it is channeled as a raw material to alternate commercial and industrial uses.
